Gantt Homes offers group homes in Mount Vernon and Fredericktown. A group home is just that – a home. The act of day-to-day living is not always simple for a person with disabilities. At Gantt Homes, there is always someone to make sure everyone is accounted for, safe, clothed and appropriately fed. We manage things like appointments, medication schedules, transportation and finances. 

Gantt Homes operates The HIVE - Helping Individuals Volunteer Everywhere. The HIVE's goal is to encourage community involvement and integration while helping the individual live a more fulfilling life.

Gantt Homes is certified by the Ohio Department of DD to assist individuals with the following waiver services:

*Indivdual Options (I/O) Waiver

*Self Empowered Life Funding

*Level One Waiver

Assisting in day-to-day household duties as well as  companionship with fun and engaging activities.

*Cleaning

*Grocery Shopping

*Meal Preparation

*Laundry

*Administering Medications

*Appointments

*Recreational Activities

*Errands 

Assisting people in feeling good about themselves and their appearance.

*Personal care & grooming

*Movement assistance (ambulation)

Gantt Homes will provide transportation to community services, activities and resources as requested.

Assistance as Payee Representative through Social Security and budget management.

*Budget Planning

*Financial Oversight

Assistance in obtaining necessary equipment for daily living. Gantt Homes will purchase items that the individuals Medicaid plan will not purchase, but are necessary for the individual's needs.

Relief assistance for those who normally care for the individual. At times an individual may need Respite Care on a short term basis due to the absence or unavailability of their caregiver(s). Gantt Homes is happy to assist families and/or caregivers in providing
